Tree Frog (Segmentation) Intarsia

Postby Toni Burghout » Sun Oct 08, 2006 7:14 am

Well I simply have to say how much I like the Tree Frog on the recent cover of CWC. Kudos to the designer!

Not only is the frog expressive, the entire composition struck me as an example of excellence in segmentation/intarsia.

Take care
Toni

I have to agree Toni. It looks like it is going to jump right off the cover!

I enjoyed doing the tree frog. I usually do not do segmentation but my wife liked it so much tht I made it for her. We get a lot of comments about it from friends. I only do fret work, intarsia, pens and jewelry boxes for the shows. I also do turned baby rattles and donate them to the deaf school in Clinton MS. I give one to each new deaf baby who goes there.
