There is something for everyone in our June issue of Creative Woodworks & Crafts. Box makers can take their pick from Janice Manuel's elegant box made from cherry wood or Diana Thompson's walnut box with a sliding lid. For the clock makers among you, select from the Wilckens' Tambour Clock, Sue Mey's Fret and Overlay Clocks, and Diana Thompson's Musical Clocks. Animal and wildlife subjects are well-represented in this issue. From eagles to hummingbirds, and deer to manatees, a wide range of choices is included. Wayne and Jacob Fowler even provided a great selection of farm animal puzzles with their "Down on the Farm" project. Rounding out this eclectic mix, we have Jeff Zaffino's motorcycle (featured on the cover), Shelli Robinson's Crusader, a shelf by Dirk Boelman, and a graduation scrapbook cover by Sue Mey that would make a meaningful gift for the special graduate in your life.
Fans of Jeff Zaffino's series on scrolling for a living will be interested in reading his suggestions for designing show booths, Rick Hutcheson shares his thoughts about CNC routers, and Mike Moorlach gives a quick overview to the making of scroll saw blades. Finally, be sure to check out Wes Demarest's informative piece about dogwood (and see his beautiful photographs)!
We hope you enjoy this issue of Creative Woodworks & Crafts, and as always, we look forward to hearing from you! |
