What's Inside the January 2008 Issue of Creative Woodworks & Crafts ...
January 2008 Cover Welcome to the 2008 January issue!

With the holiday season upon us, it is natural that we acknowledge the many wonderful blessings we have, and this lovely "Give Thanks" word project designed by Toni Burghout and Sue Chrestensen very simply sums up our feelings. Give Thanks plaqueWe truly do have so many things to be thankful for, not the least of which are those things that help make our job here at the magazine so enjoyable.

First, we give thanks for our talented designers, who continually amaze us with their skill and creativity. For example, check out Wayne Bosler's sports-themed switchplates—they are a fun and original way to brighten up a room, and sure to be big hits at craft shows.

We give thanks that it has become so easy to share information in this computer age. It is incredibly exciting to have a magazine go on sale one day, and receive an e-mailed photo a week later of a project already made from a pattern in that issue! Talk about immediate gratification! It is also rewarding to receive photos from readers all over the world, and realize that this wonderful woodworking hobby plays such an important part in so many people's lives.

Finally, we give thanks to you, our readers. Without you and your enthusiasm for woodworking and your desire to learn, there would be no Creative Woodworks & Crafts. So, thank you again, and have a blessed and happy holiday season.
